Central IVF recently undertook its largest roadshow yet, touring Australia. For the past month, Central IVF set out to build upon existing and establish new contacts with clinics around the country with a view to expand its services and make egg donation treatment accessible to patients throughout Australia.
Our Australian clinic roadshow began in Canberra, where we visited one of our existing partner clinics – Compass Fertility. Dr Nicci Sides and the team were extremely accommodating and it was great to see their amazing facilities, especially the state-of-the-art laboratory. Quite a few patients have already been matched with a donor and are about to begin their treatment at the clinic. Canberra is highly accessible, with many airline carriers flying there regularly at competitive prices.
Our next stop was Sydney, to see another of our partnering clinics, Fertility First. Located in stylishly renovated premises just a 30-minute drive from the Sydney CBD, the clinic has a lovely welcoming feel. Dr Anne Clarke and the team at Fertility First made us feel right at home. We already have patients undergoing treatment at the clinic, with many more about to start their egg donation. Sydney is highly accessible by many forms of transportation and its many attractions make it a great place to explore.
Central IVF continued further North to the Sunshine State, Queensland, which certainly lived up to its name. As soon as we’ve arrived, the amazing weather made us forget it was actually the middle of the winter. We had a number of meetings with representatives of clinics from both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, and foresee that we will soon be able to announce our egg donation Queensland programmes.
From there, we headed back South to Adelaide and Melbourne, meeting with representatives from several additional clinics (some for the first time, others whom we’d met previously). Talks are going well and we are on the verge of announcing new collaborating partners in these cities.
Overall, the Central IVF Australian clinic roadshow was a huge success. It allowed us to meet some great professionals and very friendly clinic teams. With our medical director, Dr Shlomi Barak, previously having a successful fertility practice in Australia, and a few of our team members being fellow Aussies, we are both excited and humbled to be given the opportunity to continue to expand Central IVF’s Egg Donation Australia treatment programme!
